Sigel's bagels

probably the most iconic bagel spot on granville island, so i had to give it a try!

they've got so many bagels and cream cheese flavours (i'm the most indecisive person ever) but i ended up getting their most popular salmon sandwich, the lox+cream. my friend got the montreal smoked meat since it was civic day

also the staff shirts are sooo cute i'd actually buy one if they sold them as merch lol

we took our bagels down to the waterfront and ate while watching the boats, and i don't think life gets much better than that (just keep one eye on the seagulls at all times) my sandwich was rich, fresh and super satisfying. we literally saved each other a bite so we could try both, and neither disappointed 🤝🏻

now i'm curious about the poppy seed bagel, so i guess i'll have to come back. they also have another location in kits, so if granville island is packed, definitely check this one out!
